Product Description

Mirroring the opulence of heaven, the Humayun’s tomb is the largest Timurid dormitory, with over 150 people from the kin buried here. Hosuing the tombs of Hamida Bano Begum, Alamgir II, and even Dara Shukoh, Humayun’s Maqbara is often referred to as a structure that inspired the Taj Mahal. While Shah Jahan built the Taj for his wife Mumtaz; Hamida Banu Begum got Humayun’s Tomb built for her late husband, Humayun.
Little do we know that Humayun was conferred with the title Insan e Kamil (A Perfect Man), even though the books of history do not rever him as one of the greats.
Our walk will walk past stories that will make you experience the past; we will enter a tale as we explore the unexplored nooks and corners of the structures within the Humayun’s Tomb. From tales of Sufism to kingship to love; our tale of Humayun will cover it all.
